"Happy Woman's Day"
"Don't be judgmental when you are emotional
but
never take any judgment without emotions."
This thought pierced the encrusted moments of my life when I heard someone saying, "Most of the women are emotional fools".
My mind recalled a day when my father departed for heavenly aboard. Soon I could vouch for my mom's mind shuttling between, sense of loss and sense of possession. A small notion of better future for her children helped her to overcome all her agony. Her empathy then put us in the better place today. Question is simple. Was she fool to let her emotion work for our better tomorrow? Was she fool to make her emotion, the tool, to cope up with the sudden change and challenges?
I think most of the mother and women do so. Her heart infused with enormous emotions, every woman keeps on playing the different roles. The wide spread of her emotions can cover family, community, nation and globe at large. So even years after, we do feel proud to name some women like Zaansi ki Rani Laxmibai, Indira Gandhi, Kiran Bedi, Kalpana Chawla, Sunita Williams, Sudha Murthy, Gita Piramal , Anita Desai and many more for their courage to break the stereotypes. Their sensitivity stood against insensitive systems. Their reforms have formed the foundation of our Lives and strengthened our values. But why do we limit to certain names? Don't you feel emotions of some or other women in your relation also have inspired you to clasp the joy of life fearlessly against all the odds? Think, who she is.....Your mom, sister, girl-friend, wife or someone else?
